Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Robert Suchke Message: Ranger Ed Gross is scheduled for quadruple by-pass surgery on Thursday 25 August at St. Joseph's Hospital. As one of our most active members this comes as a big surprise to all. He is in good spirits and undergoing tests while awaiting the procedure. Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers to the "Big Ranger in the sky". I would not recommend visitation until after he is out of intensive care. I'll post an update when I have more information. Rangers Lead the way! |

Unfortunately, my beloved Jeep is in a NJ Jeep service center having a new clutch installed. I must drive my rental to NJ on Thursday to pick up my Jeep Friday morning. So, I will see you all at the October meeting. RLTW Mike K. |

According to the obituary he enlisted in 1953, retired in 1976, Airborne, Ranger, Ranger Instructor, Master Blaster, Pathfinder, etc. Vietnam Vet with Valor decorations. May have been BDQ also.
