I could do that whole exercise but I was told that there was a timed distance swim and, although I was a fair distance swimmer, I was not very fast. So, there went that Ranger slot to another deserving soul. My bad luck and his good luck. |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Mike Keohane Message: I was shown a Ranger Instructor Coin (4 Camps) at the Thursday meetng. I went to Grey Water Ops and purchased two coins @ $20 apiece. There are some left but they only made 200 so time is important. |

Although I was on the Long Range Patrolling Committee, I have a soft spot for the Mountaineering Committee who allowed me to be the "fall guy" on the three man party climb.
