I regret to inform that MG Eldon Bargewell has died in a tractor / lawnmower roll-over accident at his home near Eufala, Alabama. He was a "Rangers Ranger" and served in many of the most elite SOF units. Many remember him from his time in Vietnam with SOG(North), 2-75th in their early days, and as a Squadron and unit Commander of 1st SFOD-D. His combat assignments and accomplishments are too numerous to name in this limited space. 39 years active duty, numerous purple hearts, Distinguished Service Cross, We have lost a true warrior.....I will post funeral arrangements as they become available.
